Brand New Ancients

I'm reading some Kate Tempest at the moment - it's a thought provoking, evocative and lyrical saga of South London folk trying their best to make a life. This snippet is particularly apposite as we've been watching Wolf of Wall Street this evening:

Well, working out right from wrong us never easy
when there ain't no morals,
when there ain't no justice;
when everything's weighed on the scales of profit,
it can be hard for a young man to grow up honest.
