Rural city

On my way to my mother-in-law whom I visit each Sunday morning I routinely pass around Blackford Hill. Today I paused to view the allotments which I have seen for 45 years.

Taking Blips makes you look anew at what seems familiar and I was struck in reviewing today's photos how rural the scene looks. We are just over 2.5 miles from the centre of Scotland's capital yet the view to Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags belies that.
