Baldy Gull

This black headed gull is just into its winter plumage but enough summer plumage remains to give it a "comb over" look- the Bobby Charlton of Blackford Pond.

Had I been fast enough this photo would have been of a brown rat- there was one slinking about nearby but it was too quick for me.
