Girls' Night Out!

I had just got home from a great Girls' Night Out. Not your standard GNO but a great one all the same.

I went to my callanetics class which was really tough tonight but as ever, really enjoyable. I was starving afterwards and scoffed a choccie bar and a bag of crisps down - naughty I know!

Then I went into Edinburgh and met my pals Alison (aka Sailfish) and Valerie at the Royal Observatory. Over the winter, the ROE hold weekly astronomy talks. This is the third one I have been to and they are so interesting and incredibly well attended. Tonight's talk was about the proposed European Extremerly Large Telescope and was really good.

We then went to the Braidburn Inn for a meal and a catch up. When I got back home, I popped into the pub for a swift drinkie with a couple of pals and then home.
