The dark days of November....

.... are really not as bad as we think! For in between the flowers and the snow, a whole other world appears. All those dried up flowers and trees have taken on a new look. Silvery, soft petals dangle off some bushes and all the milk weed pods have opened. The overall look is a subtle beauty, with splashes of vibrant yellow and orange in invasive vines such as these bittersweet vines.
Soon, again it will change, as the snow coats each tree and icicles begin to appear!
This is what I love so much about New England! :)
