Blowing

listened closely to the post bop exponent @ClatworthyBenn today on home turf at the FILO in Hastings Old Town. Great Gig, wonderful feel and all on an 1955 Selmer Mark VI. A Selmer Mark VI is the holy grail of Saxophones. I know this as my Dad had one and sold it. He had his from boyhood and was talked out of it in the 80's when all that was new was best (it isn't). But we all know that now. He would dearly love to have a Selmer Mark VI again as he feels it would be the thing that would keep him blowing (he is still worth listening to if you get the chance) at the standard he wants to play. If you have a Selmer Mark VI and are willing to sell or lease let me know. He is pro musician ..... he is not wealthy, but he is rich!!!. It was his 78th Birthday today. Happy Birthday Pops
Benn Clatworthy is an excellent musician ... go hear him play if you can.
