Doubled

I liked the shadow of this decorative light on the Federal Building downtown, echoing the essence of the light itself.

Phil and I were downtown this afternoon to see "Pride", the film I loved so much when I first saw it on November 2. It's now at the Limelight Cinema, the small movie theatre where the Pickford Film Center had its start.

I found "Pride" even better the second time around, so rich in characters, history, and heart. Phil loved it too, and I hope we'll be able to see it again--and I also hope that in my lifetime, other unlikely but effective coalitions will bring about the changes we need to see in our world.
