The way to heaven

Abney Park Cemetery in Stoke Newington is one of London's hidden gems. It is one of the great cemeteries of the capital and is the equal of it's more famous neighbour in Highgate. The cemetery is vast and is home to many famous Victorians, including William Booth founder of the Salvation Army.
This memorial made me smile. I think the sentiment is the hand is pointing the way to heaven, although in a modern context it could be seen as giving the finger to the Almighty.
