Autumn colour in mid november

Had a lovely relaxing day. Lovely breakfAst followed by lady marys walk near Crieff. Mostly down by the river and lots of beautiful colours- hence the blip. Then a drive through Perthshire with a stop at the oldest tree in Europe- thought it would be much bigger though. Then a bit of browsing in shops in aberfeldy, yummy coffee and cake and the drive back to Edinburgh. Had a nice dinner in Stockbridge- a new place for me - and then went to see mr turner. Didn't really grip us, but some wonderful cinematography and acting from Timothy spall. I'd have preferred a bit faster pace though. Great weekend- we were so lucky with the weather (again!)
