Exciting news

Of course when a photographer is sent flowers, the instant reaction is to take a picture of them! This beautiful floral arrangement was sent to me today by my mum to celebrate the news that I have been awarded a scholarship! I only found out today, and when I went into college this evening these were waiting for me from my family.

Today I attended a couple of lectures, then completed a translation before going to a tea party hosted by my friend Francesca. After dinner I attended a remembrance concert in which a choir sang Fauré's Requiem, accompanied by a wonderful orchestra.
