The inside story

This is my handsome nose, which has taken a bit of a hammering over the years!

I had been having a bit of sinus trouble and got referred to a specialist at a clinic - got the appointment in less than a week, thats not in the post in less than a week but the actual appointment was in less than week!
Anyway the first thing he does is squirt some gunk up both nostrils (my nostrils, not his) with no explannation and as we chat he starts preparing a camera scope thing - and it's slowly dawning on me that the camera thing is going up my hooter! Again with no explanation he inserts and wiggles (the camera, not him). Nice Doc - he was a runner and we chatted more about that than my sinuses, unfortunately.
Anyway he couldnt actually get it up one nostril at first, as in his words I have, "a very bent nose" and it was a bit odd looking at it from the inside I must say. I should have blipped that shot!
However it went all the way up the other and we had a good look at it all.
Anyway after this, unfortunately whilst in tesco, I realise that the squirty stuff was to open up my tubes and numb my nose. It had started to work by now, clearly it wasn't at the docs, and I can't swallow, sniff or feel my nose! Which made for an interesting exchange at the checkout.
