They know their onions

The girls had a frenzy of activity in the kitchen last night. A was making lasagne and G was making banoffee pie. NEITHER OF WHICH WERE FOR ME. They were allegedly for some church thing that I wasn't going to, and therefore could not benefit from their culinary activity. Hrmph.
