Funky fungi

Had to backblip yesterday's Autumn Gold ...... do hope you will have a look :-)

Looking out of the window this morning ..... I saw something against the fencepost ........ couldn't tell what it was ..... so took the camera ...... just in case .... & this is what I found!

It was difficult to get a full shot of it as it was so close to the fence ...... so I settled for a close-up of the 'gills' ..... do hope you like it :-)
