Back to the Floorboards

To record the day. We are having new wooden flooring put down in the kitchen corridor and utility room. Interesting to see what lies beneath when the old covering is removed.

I wonder why there is this little patch in the wood? It's been there for over 111 years, just revealed today.

Home to dust but not too much mess, tomorrow will be worse I think.
