Very lucky today - visited the Olympic site in Stratford, East London, with a small group from work.

Given a guided tour in a 4x4 of all of sights so far - Olympic Stadium, Velodrome (seen here), Aquatics Centre and the tentative start to the Handball Arena. Have to admit thus far I haven't been too bothered about it, but seeing it all rising was pretty exciting. Took a few sneaky pics from the car - they're a bit hot on photography.

Had to be Gene's Olympian on the train home. Shed Seven's Going for Gold not on the iPod...
