Betula pendula 'Youngii'

Perhaps not to everyone's taste but I love this dwarf, delightfully mopey cultivar of the common European white birch. Perhaps it my Scandinavian roots, but I have something for white trunk birches against white snow.

on a recent trip to Eastern North America the white trunk birches were seductive in any landscape I encountered them.
