No Tricks

The fish, her name is Shark Bait, is indeed swimming upside down. She’s the bottom fish; her reflection is on the top. Shark Bait is eight years old and belongs to my daughter. I suppose we could consider her disabled but she’s quite happy in her upside-down world and is also very obviously healthy.

I don’t know much about her situation but I believe she started out as a fan-tailed goldfish and somewhere along the way developed an air bladder problem which now renders her topsy-turvy. She’s quite social and responds when you approach her tank. My daughter takes excellent care of her, stopping just short of getting her a handicapped parking permit.
