The Installation

I have been very spoilt for my birthday. My good friend Lynn (who lives in Auckland) arranged a surprise birthday present for me....she knew how much I loved my friend Jenny's work, so she organised for Jenny to put together some of her absolutely delicately beautiful photographic prints that she does on glass lab slides to give to me. These are of trees that Jenny manipulates in a kaleidoscope way to form the most beautiful patterns. I blipped the opening of Jenny's exhibition several months ago which was very successful for her.

We had dinner last week with Jenny and her husband and she gave them to me then, and today she came out for lunch and "installed" them for me.

They look just amazing....thank you to some wonderful friends.
