Telaga Warna Dieng

In Wonosobo, Central Java.

Telaga Warna own name was given because of the unique natural phenomenon that occurs in this place, which is the color of water from the lake sometimes green, blue and yellow or colorful like a rainbow. This phenomenon occurs because the lake water contains sulfur which is quite high, so that when the sunlight on it, the lake water color is colorful and beautiful.

Telaga Warna is located at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level, and is surrounded by high hills which adds to the charm of the natural beauty around the lake colors.
The beauty of the color of the lake will be more pronounced if the visitors up to one of the hills that surround this lake.

I came to this place with my sister and my friends in the afternoon.
We arrived to Wonosobo at 8.30am by a bus, then we cleaned ourselves before we had our breakfast at Mie Ongklok Longkrak, Wonosobo. Then we headed to our homestay. The weather was lovely in the morning, the sun shone bright, and it felt very cool and fresh, especially in Dieng, felt very cooler.
In the homestay, we put our backpacks, had a shower, had lunch then we headed to this Telaga Warna*a beautiful place*, up to one of the hills to watch the beautiful landscape. Unfortunately it was raining in the afternoon, We had to stop at the lodge during rains before up to one of the hills.
Then we headed to Arjuna Temple, a beautiful place with some history. Arjuna is one of temple building in Complex enshrinement Arjuna, Dieng. In this complex there are also a Semar temple, Temple Heroine, Puntadewa Temple, and Temple Sembadra. Arjuna is the most northerly of the row of enshrinement in the complex. Meanwhile, Temple Semar is ancillary or complementary temple of Arjuna. Both buildings of the temple facing each other.
