Kingdom Come
Today was up early for Kettleworx which went for 30 mins, but was a good workout.
In the class I was in and when I popped into Coles this morning I heard "Kingdom Come" by Imagine Dragons, so I thought it would be quite apt for my title.
It brought back memories of my brother in law who passed away earlier this year at age 33, from synovial sarcoma cancer. This song was played at his funeral. He was such a happy go lucky man, had a great sense of humour . His funeral was not conventional, where bright colours were to be worn, which I thought was a good idea of his. Dirk did not like elephants but at his funeral there were several elephants in attendance.
Our little family were lucky to go and visit Zim at the end of last year which was our last time we saw him, but one thing that was such a strength of his; was that he never complained once about how ill he was when we saw him, he just wore a happy face and was totally selfless. I can't even begin to imagine the pain he was in and to know that your time was coming soon and to have to say goodbye to his beautiful family of Kylee, Baby Dirk and Bonnie. Neither can I imagine the pain my poor sister, Bonnie has been going through.
It definitely made me realize the importance of making the most of time and the most important thing for me is family.
I came home from gym at 6:30 as the class only goes for 30 mins to come and see my girls. This photo was taken not too long after Lily woke up after 7 this morning she was playing with her peppa pigs toys.
Work was able to finish our job ticket changes and will hopefully be able to release tomorrow.
Melina made these margarita pizza's out of pita bread for dinner which were delicious.
It was nice and sunny today and to top it all off it is 8:05 pm now and it is still light. Not a bad place to live in Aussie :)
