Lovely Weather For Ducks

Hooray! Lots of rain! Parts of Queensland are getting a much-needed soaking.

I was walking along under my umbrella when I spotted these two Pacific Black Ducks. They may well be a male and female though it's hard to tell as the plumage of both is so similar.

Just after I took this pic a gust of wind tore my umbrella inside out. It already had a few ribs coming loose and now it was definitely done for, so in the nearest bin it went. It's a good job rainwater is good for the skin because I got soaked to the skin - warm rain though!
