Waverley waiting-room
A friend had suggested a trip to Dunbar on Saturday to walk a short stretch of the John Muir Way. We had arranged to meet at Edinburgh Waverley railway station and, as I had arrived early, bought a coffee and took a wee wander.
The renovation and restoration of the station has certainly brightened the place up and among the features of the new-look station is the use of more natural light. This is the view of the dome above the main waiting room on the station concourse.
