Meat Monday

In rebellion to the 'Meatfree Monday' idea. Roast dinner.

I would've cooked the chicken yesterday, but as someone else offered to cook Monday it had to be!!

A quick dash home from work, chop some veg and put them in the pan, throw on the chicken and put it in the oven before heading to the Gym (yes, the GYM) for a 'programme' session, to organise me and get me back on the straight and narrow... Instructions left for preparing the potatoes.

There was a ghastly moment when I realised that I hadn't bought any more gravy granules, because quite frankly a roast dinner without gravy isn't very palatable. But I concocted something (less than satisfactory) out of the juices and some flour and stock.

Left overs to be played with in soups etc.
