Hebden Bridge had a unique sand sculpture at the Town Hall. It was a beautiful and poignant memorial.
Imagine how I felt when I crossed the bridge this morning and saw this.
It was initially reported that vandals had struck during the night - thankfully this turned out to be incorrect. The Hebden Bridge weather (rain) of recent days did the damage.
My information is that it is beyond repair and is now just a pile of sand.
