Blossoms and Gumnut Babies

In homage to May Gibbs I added this tiny dolly to my macro shot of the beautiful gum tree blossom that I found today.

May's most famous series of stories was Snugglepot and Cuddlepie and she drew a lot of the inspiration for her drawings from the time spent in the West Australian bush during her childhood.
