Encounter on a Bascule Bridge

A great day to be out cycling on a mild sunny autumn day. I captured this couple  as the girl jumped into the arms of the chap who was obviously delighted to see her. Whether this was a chance encounter or planned I've no idea, but there was a lovely spontaneity. I liked the romantic setting in the middle of the canal bridge, but also the counterpoint of the urban landscape with its factory chimneys.
