Spider in the spotlight

I had a short woodland walk today, mostly in quite gloomy conditions. Then, suddenly, the low sun broke through the gloom and ahead of me every plant at the side of the ride was adorned with spiders and their webs. What had been completely hidden was now thrown into sharp relief and was especially colourful with the backdrop of autumn leaves.
