Surprise, surprise!

Whilst at Book Club this morning, I noticed that a second part of the new town centre complex, the café, had opened to the public. So when I received a surprise invite to coffee this afternoon from an old friend, it was the perfect excuse to go and investigate further!

I was pleasantly surprised by the new café/restaurant/bar, though I'm not quite sure what to make of the bare concrete ceiling. But it was a pleasant place to have a catch-up on the last 8 months.

Two pleasant surprises in one day!!
