Charlie on the rocks! Today we were at The Pans, the smaller beach at Machrihanish. It's called The Pans because there were salt pans there in the past, the sea water heated until it evaporated using coal from the nearby mine, leaving the salt. Charlie has his squeaky yellow ball in his jaws.
