Cyclonic celebrations
Neither Sarah nor I had slept well and we put it down to the craziness of the water ride 'Cyclone' yesterday. After rushing around the aquatic centre from pool to rapids to the terrifying Cyclone our heads were spinning with all the excitement!
So we decided to have a lazy morning with the little ones whilst Andrew went off to do some Archery and James took Toby to the 'lazy river' for what must have been the 100th time! :-)
By the afternoon Sarah & I were refreshed enough to go back to the pool but this time we wouldn't need to rush around quite so much. As soon as we got there we couldn't resist a quick go on Cyclone again as the queue was so short. I reluctantly agreed that I would go backwards as Sarah was scared but we were joined by two other guys and luckily for us fate decided they would go backwards into the huge drop below.
We then went down the outdoor rapids several times again, the big water chute, the steep white slides but were drawn back to ride the famous Cyclone again and again. We really were big kids today and we loved it!!
By the evening it was the boys turn to go and brave the terror of Cyclone and we enjoyed the spectacular firework display by the lake (well Toby screamed throughout but I'm sure secretly he enjoyed them ;-)
Another great day of birthday celebrations!
