Secret seeds?

Not really sure what these are but assume the darker ones have seeds inside them which blow off in the wind... so to speak..... :O (I've just made myself childishly giggle) They remind me of my lamp shade and wind chime which are made from 'capiz'? They make a lovely tinkly sound when there's a breeze.... couldn't hear any tinkling at East Morton's playing field this morning whilst Chino walking - it was good to see daylight for half an hour though :)
