The odd glance

I collected my new glasses from the opticians at lunchtime and people in the office were very complimentary about how I looked in them. I really must thank Harriet for helping me choose the designer frames.

As I was leaving the office the boss said they made me look like Clark Kent. I then headed for the nearest phone booth.

It was difficult to avoid the occasional glance in a shop window on my way home.
