Purty Peacock Plumage

We had a struggling weather day. As in...it struggled to hit double nickels...55F. Windy, too. We decided to hit a couple of stores. But, first things first.

Merrick cried from the back seat. "I want to see the peacocks...I want to see the peacocks. Peacocks...peacocks...peacocks!!" We agreed, just to silence him.

We found a "herd" of about a dozen, right in the middle of a residential area. I'm sure the homeowners find them to be a nuisance, especially if they bring in young tourists yelling..."Peacocks...peacocks!!"

As far as color goes, I think the peacocks are right up there with Mandarin ducks and Wood ducks as the most colorful...at least here in the states.
