The gang

Staying in Grange-le-sands for our annual getaway with my school friends. Every year we try and take a photo of us all (with camera balanced on a rock or something). They are great to look back on, a record of the passing of time and the growing up of our beautiful children (and the ageing of their mums and dads!) and I hope it is something we will carry on doing for a long time. Would be great to one day fill a photo book of these line ups.

We had a lovely chilled out day today. After the epic drive yesterday (5 1/2 hours in total) we didn't fancy driving anywhere so we just walked up Hamps Fell from the cottage for some stunning views. before wandering back home for cakes via a nice pub.

Spent a great evening catching up, drinking a lot of wine and giggling over a game of pictionary we found at the cottage.
