That's what you get

When you start your day with a teachers conference at school of youngest. You work for 8 hours and try to catch up on the 300+ emails with documents that need to be filed, because it's your 2nd day at work and the person who worked there before you has been gone for 6 weeks and nothing has been done in the meantime. After work you go to your last school attended, because the head of the department asked you to be a guest speaker for 5-10 minutes at a meeting for prospective students. When you finally go home at 7.30pm, you are stuck at... of course ...the railroad track . Not the one near your house though. You pass the HEB (supermarket) and think of something you need and quickly run in to get it. Only to find out that they don't have it and you run out with 3 bags full of other stuff. You realize that you need to fill up on gas tomorrow morning, but because you don't like to get up earlier than necessary, you decide to get gas on your way home. Then your husband texts you saying you'd better get something to eat on your way home, because the pasta he made was left on the cook-top with the burner still on.
