Lavender hug

Being hugged by the lavender. I thought it looked like a Christmas bauble.

I'm a real anti when it comes to anything christmassy prior to December - but hey, you take what you get when it happens naturally.

An up and down day. Flashes of sunshine interspersed with thunder and lightening and lots of rain.

I meant to mention in yesterday's blip that the fungi I blipped on Monday is a Cyttaria gunnii. I live in an area surrounded by beech forest so I will have to look out for more occurrences of it.
