Road Block

Emergency vehicles of all sorts flashing. Two vehicles flipped over but luckily nobody hurt. We were 2 blocks from home and had to turn around and drive 15 minutes detour up around the highway to get home.

It was another incredible fall day of gorgeous light but it was fresh and cold. Walked dogs to polling station to vote in municipal election. The longtime mayor walked along with us for a bit - got to admit he is hawt! Passed by local fabric store and bought Star Trek material and Batgirl Wonderwoman and Star Wars material to make kids Xmas gifts - well, there was a sale on couldn't resist.

Later drove to Chinatown, went the Wiccan Store always see perfect funky gifts for Lisa. Bri got passport pics for his first Canada passport.

After we detoured home around the road block I took dogs for a walk and met the fireman. The road was still blocked more emergency vehicles had arrived and news crew and a couple of tow trucks. I guess it was a slow night or maybe because it was a tricky ravine to get trucks out attracted attention. Anyhow the fireman were fun and loved the dogs and they took photos of us with the dogs. I had more reflective gear on than they did - what a nerd. But a safe nerd.
