A Long Day
I started out the day by managing our bush care working bee where I took an image of a mauve grevillea but then I needed to assist Lorraine transfer her mum from hospital to the nursing home. The patient transfer was to pick mum and Lorraine up at 10:00am but the best they could apparently do was 4:30pm. (We have previously found the Ambulance Patient Transfer facility appalling.) As a result I grabbed a wheel chair from mum's aged care and took it to the hospital so we could transfer her using a wheel chair cab. Lorraine was told this was not the way it should be done but what was the alternative, wait for six hours? End result - mum happily back in her dementia unit!
This image (using Fractal Trace effect) seemed to relate to the day, however, the day finished by a good friend dropping in with flowers and a bottle of wine and then Lorraine and I going out to dinner. :)
