Iron Age sword

This is a replica of a sword that was part of a cache of Iron Age weapons found in a local farmer’s field in 2002. The originals are kept in the Treasure House in Beverley but a copy was made of this one (dating from around 70 AD), and today it was being displayed in the Town Hall.
