At Leominster: Holding on....x

I was given a commission to photograph a 21st birthday party. I didnt know the family at all when I entered the room. I knew the birthday girl, only briefly and well enough that she knows I take pictures. I like this kind of arrangement. We all go into it open minded. What I came away with that night really has stayed with me.

The room was full of family and friends, as expected. What was unexpected was the amount of genuine love and affection in the room. A photographers paradise. I have been to lots of places where there is a stale mate in the room. A kind of static of state of non emotion. Britishness I guess.

Keisha's family have love in abundance. A real treat to be asked to take pictures..
