Light and Shade

As I turned the corner today I was presented with the most glorious light and shade. Low sunlight hitting all the right things, making this image come to life.
Recklessly I stopped the car. I couldn't let this opportunity pass me by, especially as there is so much shadow and darkness around at the moment.

I wanted to stay and bathe a while longer in the warming light but I had mother to attend to and a fridge freezer to wait in for.

Thank goodness I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time today.
