Fido again

Taken from our bedroom window, this shows Fido in his "on guard" position, ready to warn us about anyone and everyone who uses the field next door, even if they are right across the other side.  Unfortunately, this can be noisy, as he is quite deaf, so cannot hear his own bark, nor us telling him to be quiet.  And he seems to be getting more possessive.

We have bought some extra plants to create a more opaque hedge, and as a temporary measure we are going to put some canvas up on the wire fence which is on the field side of the hedge.

We still haven't got around to doing the planting.  Can't really blame the weather today - there was even some sun first thing this morning.  But we were out for a couple of hours, and on the way home at 2.30, realised that we had already missed most of the daylight, and all of the sun.  Never mind - there's still tomorrow.
