On our doorstep.........

More household chores today......last of the beds striped, washed, dried, and remade.
My dear hub did all the ironing yesterday whilst I was at mums, so only the bedding to do now! You have to come back off holiday to clean bed linen don't you! ?

The cases are out of the loft finally, now open on the bed in the third bedroom, still nothing in them though! I have lifted clothes hangers out of wardrobes though, so now the whole of the upstairs looks like a Chinese laundry :-)

We had a quick lunch before our hairdresser came to colour cut and blow dry my hair, and a cut for hub too!

After she'd left, we tidied up and I decided to pop round to the "pond" which is a protected site that sits in the middle of our estate, and is home to some 30/40 ducks, moorhens, is fished regularly by keen fishermen, so is quite an attraction to have on our doorstep, literally:-)

It was obviously feeding time at the pond as all the ducks were zipping about far too much to get a decent shot!

So I wandered a little, took a few shots of various autumnal trees then as I turned and headed towards our house, the pathway that I walk down many a time, looked really pretty in the later afternoon light with all it's golden and ruby colours, so here it is!
