Here be Trolls

The Nailbourne is really just a stream that flows from a spring in the Elham valley, it's appearance is, allegedly, a harbinger of doom. In 1994, the year my son was born, it flowed for the first time in years and has done so ever since. This is a little Packhorse bridge which would have allowed the residents of the adjacent manor house access to the church without getting their feet wet.
It's not quite the Tamar bridge, but it's as good as it gets around here.
