Porty People and Places

Normal service resumes on the beach this morning as the stormy sea subsides , the sun makes a brief reappearance and the breeze continues to blow on shore from the east.

Reading Lady Findhorn's Blip Journal yesterday became even more relevant when I learnt early this morning that Today is UN World Toilet Day. There are so many things we take for granted here in Europe that are unrecognisable to millions of fellow humans elsewhere on our planet.

We have a moral imperative to end open defecation and a duty to ensure women and girls are not at risk of assault and rape simply because they lack a sanitation facility.
