And we're off!

We set off to my friends house over in Ireland tonight, due to sail on the first ferry of the day, we decided we would drive up this evening and stay in the van as we needed to be at the dock for 6am.

Here is a badly captured shot of us all getting into bed. I think the dogs had the best deal!

It wasn't actually cold getting into bed last night, as we had the heater on all the way from home to warm the van! As the night went on it got colder and colder, and we both awoke this morning completely in our sleeping backs head/face and all! After much laughter it was decided we'd get dressed inside sleeping bags which was challenging and still very cold when were up!

It's very very dark in lay-bys in Scotland we discovered and perhaps parking next to a small waterfall/stream wasn't the best idea with no toilet facilities but we managed!!
