Disruptive Technology?

Last week on my vacation I was able to test out the new Leica S2 medium format camera. Fell in love with the ergonomics and files it produces. I got some great images with it, and thoughts of owning one have been spinning in my brain since then....but it is insanely priced.

Today Pentax finally announced their long rumored entry into the medium format arena with a camera that is priced waaay lower than competition.

I wanna hate the Pentax but at 1/3 the price of the Leica, it is hard to ignore...I wonder how much this is going to change the pricing structure of the whole medium format market. Talk about upsetting the applecart.
