Tortugas

He goes out every morning to scout out where turtles have come in shore to lay their eggs; he then digs them up and moves them to safety in a sheltered area. After about 6 weeks, he opens the holes to release the newly hatched turtles. Today we saw 85 little ones emerge from a collection of 98 eggs. After about 30 minutes, they are released to the sea. Maybe only 1 or 2% survive to reach adult turtle hood.

She has big dreams to build an eco-friendly vacation & residential location. She has amassed several hundred acres of ocean front property and has plenty of local friends. She's a dynamo. They're collaborators.
