A plethora of NZ birds
Had a lovely day at Julian's house after a restful night. We went out on another blipmeet and enjoyed fish and chips for lunch. We went in search of new birds and in the end I decided I wanted to share my increasing knowledge of NZ birds, entirely because of the ornithological skills of themilkybarkid.
My collage includes another black swan, royal spoonbill (kÅtuku ngutupapa!), Pied Shag (karuhiruhi) and Scaup (papango). I know you will have all spotted these.
It's been a lovely short stay here but busy too. Tomorrow second seminar then have Saturday here before taking the long train back to Auckland.
So sorry I am not keeping up with comments.
