Beauty in Death

Last week I blipped a paeony that was just starting to fade, but still so beautiful.

Today it was just about time for it to be put outside to rest, the petals were browning and some were falling, but before I could do that I laid it out on a white backdrop to capture what really is something still very beautiful. Had intended leaving a bit of colour be ended up really liking the mono treatment.
